Mid-century modified A-frame situated in beautiful Dollar Point, Tahoe City. Near Lake Tahoe with filtered views. Just 15 min to Alpine Valley/Squaw. Great Family neighborhood all year. Great for couples or families.
Important, this property does not have air conditioning.  Air conditioners are extremely unusual in North Lake Tahoe.
A Frame of Mind has generous parking on a nice flat driveway to make your winter arrival extra comfortable. Two spots are covered in the car port that leads to the front door with electronic keyed entry. A large entryway greets you inside with plenty of room to shed your wet boots in Winter or your hiking boots in Summer.
The Great Room has room for the whole family with an open floor plan. The kitchen, dining and living room open up to the large deck with seating for outdoor dining in Summer. A laundry room and half bathroom are located off of the kitchen for your convenience.
Downstairs you will also find a full bathroom along with two bedrooms: one with two twins and another with a King. Upstairs is another full bathroom with shower and a loft space that gives the kids their space while still being part of the family. The TV in the loft has access to netflix, hulu and other apps; just bring your own log ins and remember to log out when you leave. There are two more bedrooms upstairs: one with a King bed and one with a Queen and a twin bed.
Please note that you are staying in a home, not a hotel, and our housekeeper charges a set rate because our guests leave the house similar to how they found it so her team can come in to sanitize, clean and make it perfect for you each and every time. We have a short list of tidying tasks that we ask you to complete before checkout. Nothing crazy, but we like to be up front about it. We just ask that you clean and put away the dishes you use, take out the kitchen trash that you made, place used towels in the bathtub, leave the beds unmade (but no need to strip them!) and return any furniture/games to where you found them.

Unfortunately, starting in 2021, the dollar point amenities are no longer available to renters. We are so sorry for the inconvenience.

Other things to note
We continue to improve our home, but do not have a fireplace at this time. We have a nice selection of candles that give the home a warm, wintery glow.
We have AppleTV and AmazonFireTV for use with your own accounts, but no cable. 

 POLICIES & DISCLOSURES
1. 2021 Update: Due to Extreme Fire Danger – The use of ANY outdoor firepit or fireplace is strictly prohibited at any of our rental properties. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to keep our community safe from wildfires.
2.As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
3.By local laws we have to charge a 12% occupancy tax (10% TOT tax + 2% TBID tax) with every booking. TBID, is placed on lodging, retail, restaurant and recreation businesses in North Lake Tahoe to raise money for visitor services, business support and advocacy, economic development, tourism mitigation and transportation services.

Great company to work with, great home
Great home! Kitchen is well-stocked with supplies and rooms are comfortable. The home has two covered parking spots, which is so nice when it snows! The home has 2 full baths in the hallway (one upstairs, one downstairs) and then the laundry room has a toilet. Tahoe Moon was easy to communicate with and we had a great stay. Thank you!
