*Tahoe is a beautiful and fun place to visit, but occasionally this area can be affected by extreme weather events. While we never want things like icy roads, road closures, or smoke from wildfires to negatively impact our guests, it can happen. We ask travelers to plan their vacation appropriately for the rural mountain climate and encourage guests to research all travel insurance options, as Tahoe Moon Properties cannot provide refunds for things outside of our control.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
-Please Note- The stairs going to the upper bedrooms are somewhat steep, and can sometimes be challenging for young children, or those with mobility challenges.
-This is an older cabin and sounds travel between all of the spaces fairly easily due to its A-frame nature. Guests walking on the stairs or in the upstairs rooms may prove to be audible to that downstairs.
-Important, this property does not have air conditioning. Air conditioners are extremely unusual in North Lake Tahoe.
-This is a dog-friendly house but in order to bring a dog, you must pay a $70 dog fee per dog, 2 dog maximum. If you bring a dog without paying the dog fee, you will be subject to a fine much greater than the pet fee.
-Additional Fees include cleaning fee, administration fee, and local Transient Occupancy Tax. Check-out time is 10 AM.
-SUMMER 2022 UPDATE: There is construction going on in nearby proximity to this house. Some noise and nuisance should be expected. Unfortunately, this is not something that we have any control of but local ordinances do limit the times of construction to reasonable working hours and are typically not active on the weekends (though not guaranteed).
