*Tahoe is a beautiful and fun place to visit, but occasionally this area can be affected by extreme weather events. While we never want things like icy roads, road closures, or smoke from wildfires to negatively impact our guests, it can happen. We ask travelers to plan their vacation appropriately for the rural mountain climate and encourage guests to research all travel insurance options, as Tahoe Moon Properties cannot provide refunds for things outside of our control.

My husband and I had an enjoyable, relaxing time at the cabin. It was nice to sit outside with our morning coffee and watch the forest start a new day, squirrels roaming, birds whistling, no bears. It is in a nice location and we look forward to coming back.
My husband and I enjoyed a week at the Fairway two bedroom/one bathroom cottage during summer. Our adult daughter joined us for part of the week. We had a couple of minor questions when we arrived and received a very prompt and patient response from Tahoe Moon. The house was more spacious than expected and had a fairly large private patio with a nice hot tub that we enjoyed. We brought our dog so took a lot of walks down the street to the shops in Tahoe City. The dog beach was only 20 minutes away by car in Carnelian Bay. The only downside is that the driveway is fairly steep and we had two cars so had to rotate them at times depending on who needed to leave first.
Love the cottage
The cottage is exactly what they said. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. We even got to see a bear while having coffee Sunday morning. Such a beautiful place and spot. Can’t wait to come back

We had a great stay in this cosy cabin. The location for summer was great with a short walk down to the lake and river, and we loved having a soak in the hot tub and bbq each day! The cabin felt very homely. Tahoe Moon were quick to respond to us when we experienced a plumbing issue and all other communications prior to our stay

Our group had a great stay at this cozy little Tahoe City cabin.
“Our group had a great stay at this cozy little Tahoe City cabin. It was perfect for our needs. Kitchen was well stocked and even had some spices to use. We made great use of the hot tub and enjoyed taking a stroll to downtown. Also close by to Squaw (15 min) for perhaps our next ski trip. All in all a great trip and appreciate that we were able to reserve it less than 24 hours in advance for a quick last minute trip to escape the smokey Bay Area.”
First time In the Lake Tahoe area. What a Place!
My family of 5 loved this cabin with it's location. It's close to Squaw valley, the Lake and Tahoe city. It was easy to shop and get supplies. We have three kids 15,13 and 10. This place just worked for us with the large kitchen and living area. The hot tub was great, the snow must have been 5ft deep around the hot tub. It was quite a site to see. The place was clean and the owner was very helpful. We had a great time. I would recommend this cabin to a to all my friends. We will be back very soon.
Great family getaway
We loved this cottage it is quite big for a 2 bedroom cabin and the kids and our dog have a great time exploring out behind the house. The house was nice and clean and we loved the welcome wine. It was nice and close to skiing and Tahoe City. We will be back.
Love the cute house
My husband, our 2 years old yellow lab and I had a lot of fun in this house, it is nice and cosy, will come back again!
