The Gem at Dollar Point is a great newly renovated/remodeled North Lake Tahoe vacation home offering 4 bedrooms and 4 baths with corn-hole, ping pong table, and hot tub. It is the perfect vacation rental for summer fun with the family, a winter ski trip or, a gathering of friends. It is located just a couple of minutes drive from Tahoe City, where there is shopping, restaurants, a movie theater and 2 supermarkets. From Tahoe City, it's 10-minutes to Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows or, Homewood Ski Resort.

The grounds surrounding The Gem at Dollar Point feature a grassy area, 3 large sunny decks, and of course a patio hot tub. What ski trip is complete without a relaxing soak at the end of the day? The home also features a large double garage with interior entrance to the home, with plenty of space to store your ski equipment. The living room has a beautiful rustic large petrified wood and slate fireplace with a comfortable sofa, love seat and chair with ottoman. There is a TV, DVD and Cable with many Movie channels. It also has its own sunny deck that looks out over the grassy lawn. The dining room adjacent to the living room has a pub height dining table for 8, a bar that seats 2, and an Island that seats 4-6. Downstairs there is a small game room with corn-hole and a ping pong table. No expense has been spared in making this kitchen an amazing place to relax and cook up anything from spaghetti to soufflés. The center island is granite and seats 4-6 people. All the appliances are stainless steel, including a double oven and a wine fridge, and look stunning surrounded by all the wooden cabinets. Outside the back sliding glass door onto the patio area there's a gas grill. Another exit from the kitchen area leads to the hot tub with easy access for your enjoyment.
Important, this property does not have air conditioning. Air conditioners are extremely unusual in North Lake Tahoe.
Downstairs there is a master bedroom with a California King-size bed, private bathroom, granite vanity with a vessel sink and a slate tiled shower. There is also a TV with DVD and a ceiling fan. Upstairs are three more bedrooms. The first upstairs bedroom features a pine log bunk bedroom set that has an extra-long twin size bed over a queen size bed. The second bedroom features a queen size bed with cable TV. These bedrooms share a full bathroom across from them featuring granite and tile. There is also another tiled bathroom off the kitchen area. In the winter months, the tile floors in the bathrooms are heated. The Master bedroom has a California King-size bed with a bathroom that features a twin granite vanity with vessel sinks and a huge granite and tiled shower. There is cable TV and DVD with a remote controlled ceiling fan. It truly is a fabulous bedroom, made even better by its own large sunroom and large open deck with lake views. The sunroom gets beautiful sun most of the day and is a great place to relax and read a book or, the Sunday paper. The house is protected by video security on the outside.

1. 2021 Update: Due to Extreme Fire Danger – The use of ANY outdoor firepit or fireplace is strictly prohibited at any of our rental properties. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to keep our community safe from wildfires.
2.As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
3.By local laws we have to charge a 12% occupancy tax (10% TOT tax + 2% TBID tax) with every booking. TBID, is placed on lodging, retail, restaurant and recreation businesses in North Lake Tahoe to raise money for visitor services, business support and advocacy, economic development, tourism mitigation and transportation services.
