This classic woodsy pet-friendly abode features plenty of new updates while still preserving the rustic, Tahoe cabin feel that Tahoe Vista living is known for.

Old Tahoe Charm doesn't mean you have to forgo the comforts of modern living. Updates sprinkled through the home accommodate all sorts of travelers.  As you pull up to the cabin, one may notice the towering pines perfectly shading the newly rebuilt deck. The living area has been upgraded with hickory hardwood flooring, a flat screen television with cable TV, WIFI and a gas fireplace. The kitchen, while quaint, includes all of the necessary essentials; an oven with smooth-surface cooktop, countertop microwave, 12-cup coffee maker, toaster and stainless steel fridge. Important, this property does not have air conditioning.  Air conditioners are extremely unusual in North Lake Tahoe.

This home comfortably sleeps up to 4 adults, but can accommodate 6 if needed with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms over two floors, plus a loft. On the main floor, the first bedroom is outfitted with a king bed with brass frame and plush pillowtop mattress allowing travelers all the comforts of home, but surrounded by the nature you travelled here for. The adjacent bathroom is modest, but light filled. Up the stairs you’ll find a great loft-style area for the youngin's with a trundle bed and a full futon that folds out. Before entering the second bedroom, a Jack-and-Jill bathroom awaits making it easy to be shared by guests sleeping in the upstairs bedroom or the loft alike. Beyond, the second bedroom has a full/double bed and private access to the backyard via a balcony staircase.

This cabin is situated less than a mile from the Tahoe Vista Recreation Area, which boasts 2.7 miles of public lake access, a sheltered boat launching facility, and picnic facilities, as well a kayak and SUP rentals straight from the lake's shore in the summer months. At the end of the street, you'll find the North Tahoe Regional Park with tons of hiking, biking, as well as a disc golf course in the summer, and snowshoeing, cross country skiing in the winter. When staying at this home you're less than 10 miles from Northstar, and about 15 miles from Mt. Rose Ski Resort for world-class skiing.

Face it, this home is the perfect year-round base camp for all you Tahoe travels.
Important, this property does not have air conditioning.  Air conditioners are extremely unusual in North Lake Tahoe.

Great Locale
This is a great location and the cabin has a good layout for a family. Lake and open space is close as well as northstar and diamond peak. The kitchen is on the smaller side with no dishwasher so best for eating out and simple meals.

Rustic property- good location
Rustic property. Some amenities were lacking. But the space was quiet and comfortable, but the beds are on the harder side. You can definitely make due here.
