Squaw Oakley Retreat is a 5 bedroom 3 bath house w/ a sauna, hot tub, and incredible mountain views! Wake up to unbelievable views of Squaw Valley, KT22 & the tram face from the end of a quiet cul d' sac w/ nature right out the back door. You are able to walk or take a 2-minute drive to the Village at Squaw, and this ski retreat has 2 decks and a wrap-around front porch to take in all the fresh Tahoe air you can get! Located on the west end of Squaw Valley, you are only a quick minute from the ski area.
Important, this property does not have air conditioning. Air conditioners are extremely unusual in North Lake Tahoe.
The first floor has a large living room with fireplace and a wrap-around couch for the whole family to relax after a day on the mountain. There is a large kitchen and bar area next to the dining room with such an amazing view you might just forget about the food! The first floor also has 2 bathrooms, the sauna, and 3 bedrooms. When you go upstairs there are 2 more bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The deck has the hot tub and BBQ for entertaining and relaxing, but the whole house is built for the perfect ski getaway.
This is a dog-friendly house but in order to bring a dog, you must pay a $70 dog fee per dog, 2 dog maximum. If you bring a dog without paying the dog fee, you will be subject to a fine and are in breach of contract which could result in being asked to leave the property.
Additional Fees include cleaning fee, administration fee, and local Transient Occupancy Tax. Check out time is 10 AM.
POLICIES & DISCLOSURES
1. 2021 Update: Due to Extreme Fire Danger – The use of ANY outdoor firepit or fireplace is strictly prohibited at any of our rental properties. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to keep our community safe from wildfires.
2.As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
3.By local laws we have to charge a 12% occupancy tax (10% TOT tax + 2% TBID tax) with every booking. TBID, is placed on lodging, retail, restaurant and recreation businesses in North Lake Tahoe to raise money for visitor services, business support and advocacy, economic development, tourism mitigation and transportation services.
