This 4 bedroom, 2 ½ bath home sits on top of a hill at the end of the street, providing privacy, solitude, and scenic gorgeous views! The first stop when arriving at this home is the massive wrap-around deck that provides BBQ dinner fun, sunbathing areas, and enough room to have the whole family outside together. Upon entering the house, you will be stunned by the size and beauty of the kitchen and great room. This area provides a fireplace to cuddle up to when awaiting your dinner, and a special nook in the kitchen where you can sit, have your coffee, and watch and listen to the seasonal babbling creek that flows under the home!


The main floor through the kitchen and great room leads to the first bathroom, first bedroom (where you sleep right above the creek!) and into the library. This bathroom is not your normal bathroom, the stunning walls are filled with colorful and striking tiles. The wall has a plaque that reveals where each tile was originally from. The owner had been a renowned contractor who worked on infamous celebrities and each tile is from a different project, including the gold tiles from Liberace’s house! The bathroom also has a notable roman bathtub/shower that you do not get to see every day!


When entering the library, you cannot help but to be taken back by the uniquely beautiful chandeliers that the original owner put together himself! Off the library are three bedrooms, including the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom that has a fireplace to separate the bathtub and the bed so you can relax both in the tub and in bed with a warm fire! Above the library is a huge loft, with three futons, and a table area perfect for game nights! This is more than a home; it is an experience that you and your family do not want to miss out on!

Although 80% of our properties are pet-friendly - this is NOT a pet-friendly property.  Please be respectful of this.  We do not consider service animals pets.  If you bring a dog, you will be subject to a fine and are in breach of contract which could result in being asked to leave the property.
 


POLICIES & DISCLOSURES
1. 2021 Update: Due to Extreme Fire Danger – The use of ANY outdoor firepit or fireplace is strictly prohibited at any of our rental properties. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to keep our community safe from wildfires.
2.As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
3.By local laws we have to charge a 12% occupancy tax (10% TOT tax + 2% TBID tax) with every booking. TBID, is placed on lodging, retail, restaurant and recreation businesses in North Lake Tahoe to raise money for visitor services, business support and advocacy, economic development, tourism mitigation and transportation services.

Great Stay, really snowy!
Our stay at this property was overall great. The house was beautiful and well maintained and everything that was advertised was included. There was a few issues however, being that it was winter, we thought the stairs and driveway would be cleared of snow and ice. Two of our cars got stuck on the way up to the property as the driveway was way too icey and tires would slip making it a very hazardous situation. Also the one of the bathrooms showers had trouble draining and there would be a lot of water collected even for a quick shower. This was not ideal for large groups, as we would have to wait for the shower to drain before the next person could use it. While there are the negatives, the property was still a great experience to stay in. The house was beautiful and made for a great Tahoe getaway. For a group of 8 people, we were very well accommodated and did not feel cramped at all. Even with the issue we still really enjoyed our stay at this property. When the ice on the roads got too bad, we did call the property and they quickly sent someone to help clear some of the ice and salt the roads, albeit this should have been already done.
