Promised Land Lodge at Northstar Truckee
If you are chasing after a powder day, or just enjoying the Tahoe scenery this is the ultimate ski cabin. Promised Land is within walking distance to all that Northstar offers, yet just 10 minutes to the shores of Lake Tahoe. This 4 bedroom plus a loft and 3 bathroom retreat boast gleaming granite counters, radiant heat throughout, airy living spaces, and lovely forest views from every room. Located in sought after Beaver Pond, which is the closest proximity to Village via adjacent TMT trail system.
Important, this property does not have air conditioning. Air conditioners are extremely unusual in North Lake Tahoe.
There are two bedrooms on the first floor, with a Jack and Jill bathroom in between. Each room has a Queen bed. Upstairs there are the remaining two rooms, additional bathroom, living area, and walk-in closet. The one-room upstairs has a Queen bed and the other has a Queen bed and 1 twin bunk bed.
Located in the Northstar California Resort, this home comes with free shuttle service to the ski lifts, Village, and Recreation Center. Just give them a call and be picked up in minutes at your driveway. This property offers access to the Northstar Recreation Center. The Recreation Center provides a year-round heated adult lap pool, several outdoor hot tubs, a well-equipped expansive workout room, a game room with pool tables, air hockey, video games and much more. In the summer, guests will also enjoy the Junior Olympic size swimming pool, kiddie pool, kid’s camp, play area, basketball court and the Snack Shack.
Winter activities at Northstar Resort include the new Lookout Mountain offering acres of new terrain for skiers and snowboarders including a Terrain Park and Super-pipe. There is a cross-country center, snow tubing park, ice skating rink, restaurants, bars, retail shops, equipment rental shops, licensed daycare, and a movie theater.
Summer activities include a champion 18-hole golf course and golf pro, tennis courts, tennis pro available for lessons, rolling skating rink, mountain bike trails including chair lift to take you to the top and equestrian center with great trails for horseback riding. The recreation center offers pickleball, SUP yoga and tennis lessons.
The NPOA Recreation Center provides guests with access to three pools (lap pool open year-round), two hot tubs, dry saunas, fitness facility, game/arcade room, tennis courts, summer camps and clinics, bocce ball & basketball, nature trail, kids playground, massages, swim lessons and summer activities for daily guest fee. Free shuttles operate between Northstar homes and the Village center.
At Northstar California resort, winter offers downhill skiing & snowboarding plus a cross-country and snowshoe center. Summer offers a lift-accessed mountain bike park and golf.
The Village at Northstar offers dining, entertainment, spa services, and shopping options with numerous restaurants and shops, a movie theater, ice skating/roller skating rink, and more.
Please note that during the Spring and Fall seasons, when Northstar's winter and summer mountain operations are closed, the Village restaurants and retail outlets run on a modified schedule. Expect limited dining and shopping options during these periods - typically between the end of ski season through late June and after Labor Day through mid-November.
Additional Fees include cleaning fee, administration fee, and local Transient Occupancy Tax. Check out time is 10 AM.

1. 2021 Update: Due to Extreme Fire Danger – The use of ANY outdoor firepit or fireplace is strictly prohibited at any of our rental properties. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to keep our community safe from wildfires.
2.As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
3.By local laws we have to charge a 12% occupancy tax (10% TOT tax + 2% TBID tax) with every booking. TBID, is placed on lodging, retail, restaurant and recreation businesses in North Lake Tahoe to raise money for visitor services, business support and advocacy, economic development, tourism mitigation and transportation services.
